Times are Changing: تتغير الأوقات
Those of you who frequent the blog may notice some rather radical changes in the layout. Exhausted from four months of intensive Arabic study and the ever-expanding obsession with Egyptian politics, I’ve spent the past few weeks in prayer and reflection over the future and what it may bring. While the future itself is still up in the air, I’ve elected to make the transition to a more flexible interface that will allow the blog mirror life’s future twists and turns. (In an effort to keep the blog user friendly, however, please provide feedback on these layout changes.)
As for the short term, I’m headed stateside in a week’s time for a much needed break from both the Arabic language and the Egyptian Revolution. While Phoenix is the ultimate destination, I’ll be stopping by Boston, Middlebury, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. for varying lengths of time. As such I suspect the updates will be few and far between over the holidays.
In the interim, I hope to update the “Purely Egyptian Moments” series, reflect on the past semester and perhaps buckle down for some final Arabic vocabulary review as I continue to stagger towards to the finish line.
